Wolves & Jackals' "Demo" Out Now

Wolves & Jackals is a destructive, unrelenting force preparing for the apocalypse that will consume us all. Patrons of God's left hand, they pour forth the legacy of pain, that is purgatory, onto mere mortals who cower as fear takes hold. Words spoken through them. The gospel of death.

CHOPPER's "Born to Ride... or Die" CD Out Now
CHOPPER is a three-piece rock/metal band from Atlanta, GA. They play a style influenced by classic rock and metal (e.g. Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, Jimi Hendrix), as well as modern hardcore and metal (e.g. Converge, Mastodon, Entombed, Unsane). Their debut full length, "Born To Ride… Or Die," has 10 songs that embodies heavy metal and keeps your head banging all the way through! With heavy riffs and lots of melody, this album will keep you listening with its raw power and explosive energy.

News:
Everyone is doing great working on their songs for the record. Judy Chicago is doing a phil collins redux, Thy Might Contract, Chrissakes, Chopper, Lay Down Mains, Hawks, Retconned, Vera Fang and The Sunglasses are all jumpin in and outta the studio over the next 2 weeks to get their songs documented and ready. With the death of Suitcases over the last week...there has been talk of adding Skin Problems (chrisses new band) to the line up, as well as sneaking an unreleased Electrosleep Int'l track onto the comp. no word on SIDS, but we have faith that they prevail and get their shit together in time. more to come. cheers.

CHOPPER on Other Sound Festival Compilation
THE OTHER SOUND is a collective of labels, bands and artists in and around Atlanta, GA. The first-ever Other Sound festival was held in Oct. 2005 at The Earl, Lenny's, and 10 High.
The second, Other Sound '06 was held Sept. 7-9 at Drunken Unicorn, The EARL and Lenny's.
Last year's Other Sound '07 tackled 4 amazing nights @ Drunken Unicorn, The Earl, Lenny's & the 11:11 teahouse.

This years festival will be September 11th, at WonderRoot, 12th at Star Bar and 13th at The Earl. We have a great line up or bands, labels and sponsors this year & we can't wait until September!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Railroad Earth last night to pre-party w/us. We had a great time & made some good $ for our friends @ SOPO Bikes.
We especially want to thank Lovesick Scientist, Fernandina & Trappers Cabin for coming out to play. It was a great show, everything sounded amazing out there!
